Three arrested in Sweden, Germany for triple shooting in Brabant

Three people have been arrested in Sweden and Germany in connection with a triple shooting in the Noord-Brabant town of Oosterhout at the end of March, Dutch police said on Wednesday.
A 24-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested in Sweden on Tuesday night, while a third suspect, a 28-year-old man, was arrested in Germany. All three, who have Swedish nationality, are awaiting extradition to the Netherlands.
Two men were killed in what the AD described as an “explosion of violence” in a residential area of the town shortly before 4 pm on March 28. A third man died in hospital a month later.
The victims were sitting in their cars when the killers struck. The suspects later abandoned their own vehicle and were spotted on electric scooters heading for Breda, the AD said.
The shooting reportedly followed a dispute over who should pay for a large consignment of cocaine that had been intercepted by officials, the AD said.
However, relatives of the victims have also said the murders were carried out their family members by mistake.
