Man dies in bull attack on Noord-Holland farm

A man was trampled to death by a bull on a farm in the village of Stompetoren near Alkmaar in Noord-Holland on Sunday, police have confirmed.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance helicopter, were called to the scene but were unable to save the man. Another man escaped with minor injuries.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the attack, calling it a “nasty acciden”.
There is no official record of fatal attacks by bulls but older data suggests it happens once or twice a year. It is not clear if the deceased was the owner of the farm.
