Man, 18, arrested for causing blasts that damaged two houses

An 18-year-old man from Rotterdam has been arrested on suspicion of causing two explosions in a Haarlem neighbourhood.
Both attacks took place on the evening of November 3 last year. One blast badly damaged the front door of a house in Borneostraat and two cars parked outside, while the othe shattered windows of a house in Paul Krugerstraat.
Nobody was injured in the explosions. Camera footage from the scene indicated that two people were involved in planting the devices, but police have not identified the second suspect.
The 18-year-old has been detained in custody while further inquiries are carried out.
