Police in Noord-Brabant have found a garden gnome made entirely of party drug MDMA, hidden among a haul of other drugs intercepted on Thursday night.

“We know drugs come in all shapes and sizes and many of those don’t come as a surprise to us, but this is special,” the police wrote on Facebook.

Officers initially thought the gnome was made of stone but because it was found among drugs they carried out a test which confirmed it was made of MDMA, the key component in ecstasy. The gnome weighed some two kilos.

Police did not say what other drugs were found and where the find was made.
