Feyenoord and Cambuur join the line up for the KNVB Cup semi-finals, after beating AZ and Vitesse of Arnhem respectively in Wednesday evening’s play.

The Rotterdammers, who beat AZ in the league competition just three ago, won the match 2-0, although captain Gernot Trauner and Quinten Timber both went off injured.

Leeuwarden club Cambuur, which plays in the first division, pushed Vitesse out of the cup competition 3-1 earlier on Wednesday evening. Cambuur, currently in eighth place, have only made the cup semi-finals once before in club history.

On Tuesday NEC beat ADO Den Haag 3-0 to seal their place in the semi-finals.
The last quarter-final, between Groningen and Fortuna Sittard, takes place on Thursday evening.
