Police find body of missing 36-year-old woman in woodland
The body of a missing 36-year-old woman has been found in woods in Noord-Brabant, police have confirmed.
Silvana Heber, a mother of two children, was reported missing on Saturday morning, prompting an extensive search by police and members of the Veterans Search Team.
Her body was found at around 11pm on Tuesday in woods between Vessem and Veldhoven, close to her home in Hoogeloon.
Her 41-year-old former partner was arrested and detained in custody on Tuesday after police said they believed he was withholding information about her disappearance.
Around 150 people attended a public meeting in Hoogeloon on Tuesday evening, while the search was still ongoing. ‘The community is small. People know each other. This is a huge blow,’ said mayor Remco Bosma.
