Temperatures set to rise this week, some areas could reach 33C

August 22, 2022

Temperatures are expected to break 30 degrees again in some parts of the country later this week, according to the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute KNMI.

Monday and most of Tuesday will be dry and sunny, with some clouds and the occasional shower expected in the east of the country.

Temperatures are set to peak on Thursday, when the KNMI forecasts a high of 29 degrees at De Bilt weather station.

The south of the country will see 30 degrees by Wednesday and some parts could reach 33 degrees on Thursday.

On Friday KNMI is forecasting rain showers and winds from the north which will cool things off. Temperatures at the weekend are expected to be in the mid-20s.
