A dominant performance in Amsterdam saw Ajax keep up their 100% record as they beat German side Dortmund 4-0 at home in their Champions League tie.

An own goal following a Dušan Tadić’s free-kick put the Amsterdammers into an early lead with Daley Blind, Antony and Sébastien Haller sealing the home win.

Amsterdam are now at the top of Group C win nine points from three games.

‘Being good in possession was one of our first priorities tonight,’ Ajax head coach, Erik ten Hag told Amazon Prime. ‘My players were exceptional in that regard and created a lot of chances.

‘What pleased me most though was the way we pressed. I’m happy that we won and that we won with fantastic football, but there are three games to go.’
