Coronavirus and you: what is the impact on the international community?
The coronavirus pandemic is having a major impact on the international community in the Netherlands, in terms of both jobs and way of life.
There is little evidence that international workers are leaving the Netherlands because of the coronavirus epidemic, but fewer people are arriving, experts and organisations working with expats told DutchNews.nl earlier in the autumn.
Now the International Community Advisory Platform is carrying out a survey on the impact of coronavirus on the international community, building on two short pieces of research carried out earlier by DutchNews.nl.
The results of the survey will be used to help shape local authority approaches to international workers and their families in terms of both information and services.
ICAP has carried out previous surveys on the 30% ruling, expat partners and work, housing and education.
