Police appeal for help to find missing murderers after 20-year jail sentence

The police are hunting for two men who have been sentenced to 20 years in jail for murder but have since vanished.

Azzeddine Azahaf, 28 and Anel Bijedic, 29, were found guilty of the ‘cold-blooded’ killing of a man in Breda over two years ago by judges last Thursday.

The two men had been held in jail since their arrest but were released in October 2019 pending their trial. They hit the headlines at the time of their arrest when they were injured jumping off a third-floor balcony in an effort to get away.

Police made an appeal for help in finding the men on a television crime show on Tuesday evening but warned the public not to approach them, as they may be armed.
