The corona crisis may have closed down the Keukenhof flower garden near Lisse but the park is making good on its promise to bring the gardens to the public.

The Keukenhof, which should have opened on March 21 and close again on May 10, attracts some million visitors from all over the globe each year.

However, government rules banning events up to June 1 mean the garden must keep its gates closed. But with or without visitors, the park was ready to burst into colour – Keukenhof gardeners had already planted some seven million bulbs for this year’s display.

The latest virtual visit to the garden shows tulips in in full bloom under a blue spring sky. The park has promised further updates will follow.
