A wet weekend with sunny spells ahead, and it will feel colder

The most sunshine on Friday will be enjoyed in the south of the Netherlands as rain moves in across most of the country.

Saturday will be wet, but there will be sunny spells at times and there could be thunderstorms in coastal areas. The temperature will be no higher than 18 Celsius in the south, cooler in the north.

Sunday will feel chilly, with the temperature dropping to no higher than 16 Celsius, but there will be some sunny spells.

The picture is similar into next week, but it will be slightly warmer and there may be less rain. The KNMI’s long-term forecast is for more of the same, with a 20% chance of rain and temperatures above the seasonal average by the middle of the month.
