Police in Tilburg have arrested two drugs dealers who had distributed order lists to hundreds of students, the AD said on Thursday afternoon.
Two men, aged 26 and 27, advertised their services with a flyer listing ‘new products for 2019’ and listing deals such as €20 for half a gramme of cocaine, as well as ketamine, viagra and LSD, the paper said.
The leaflet, spread around a student area of the city, included a 06 phone number for local calls, and a +31 number for orders from abroad, the AD said. Prospective clients were asked to send a text message, detailing their interest, and told they would then be transferred to the ‘correct number’.
Police were alerted by a 21-year-old woman who found the leaflet in an envelop in her letter box. ‘It would appear that half the student neighbourhood had received it,’ a police spokesman told the paper.
Police monitored the numbers and arrested two clients, who eventually admitted buying drugs. Their answers led police to the two dealers who were arrested, police said. Various quantities of hard drugs were found in their homes and they remain in custody.
