Dutch satirical tv show Lubach picked up by Russian opposition leader

August 7, 2017

An item about Russian prime minister Dmitri Medvedev by Dutch satirical television show Zondag met Lubach has been circulated on the internet by Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

Navalny has uploaded the item to his website and circulated it on Twitter. ‘If, like me, you missed this, then you must watch this very funny report about the protests in Russia on Dutch television,’ the AD quotes the website as saying.

The item, which focuses on Medvedev’s alleged corruption and bad dancing, was broadcast on the Lubach show four months ago.

At the beginning of this year, Lubach’s video introducing US president Donald Trump to the Netherlands went viral and was watched over 10 million times.
