A 63-year-old woman is appearing in court accused of selling confidential information from police records.
Carla T. is alleged to have accessed and printed off at least 135 documents from the police computer system while working as a volunteer in the Amsterdam-Amstelland division between 2010 and 2012.
She is said to have received payment for the documents via a foundation set up to support victims of crime and a bogus law firm, using fake invoices.
A 42-year-old man who is said to have befriended T. in order to obtain confidential documents is also a suspect in the case, AT5 reported.
