Fewer Dutch nationals in foreign prisons, most held for drugs
Some 2,060 Dutch nationals are currently being held in foreign jails, a 10% drop on the same period last year, according to foreign ministry figures.
More than half of them have been jailed for drugs offences, RTL news, which requested the official figures, said.
Most are in European prisons, with Germany, Spain, Britain and France heading the list.
