A Dutch fishing boat which went missing in the English Channel last week with four people on board has been found, Urk town council has confirmed.

The trawler Z85 Morgenster disappeared between Hastings and Boulogne, prompting a major air sea rescue attempt. Two of the four crew were found dead in the water several days later.

Four other Urk trawlers and a sonar boat operated by a private company continued the effort to find the boat on Monday close to the French coast. It is not sure where the ship was or how it was found, news agency ANP says.
