The city of Rotterdam is to start counting visitors via mobile phone signals this spring, according to the Telegraaf.
City alderman Adriaan Visser told the paper the city is aiming to increase visitor numbers by 10% over the next few years and needs to know how many people visit the city centre and how long they stay.
