Norwegian man arrested in Rotterdam for stepdad’s murder

A 23-year-old Norwegian national wanted in connection with the gruesome murder of his stepfather last week, has been arrested in Rotterdam.

Kim Andreas Kristiansen turned himself in to the police and will appear in court later this week, news agency ANP said. It is not yet clear when he will be extradited.

Kristiansen is suspected of killing his 58-year-old stepfather with a hammer at a flat in Lillehammer, cutting the body in pieces and burning it.

A 21-year-old man, thought to be his accomplice, was arrested in Norway last Thursday. He urged Kristiansen to turn himself in, Norwegian media reported.
