Sales of new cars plunge 30%
Just over 301,000 new cars were bought in the Netherlands over the first nine months of the year, a drop of almost 30% on 2012.
Car sector organisations RAI Vereniging and Bovag say they have now downgraded their earlier prognosis of full year sales of 410,000 to 380,000.
Next year they see a recovery to 400,000 cars.
