The Netherlands’ oldest inhabitant celebrates her 111th birthday on Tuesday at care home the Molenhof in Havelte in the province of Drente.

Egbertje Leutscher-De Vries is celebrating with family and friends at the home, and will be visited by the local mayor and a representative of the provincial council.

Her daughter told news agency ANP that the party will not be as festive as last year when her mother became the oldest person in the country.
