Europe’s biggest led display screen unveiled in Rotterdam

The biggest led display screen in Europe, which cost nearly €3m to make, has been unveiled at Rotterdam’s main railway station.

The screen is 4.5 metres high and 40 metres long, contains 5,142,528 bulbs and weighs 8,000 kilos, Nos television reports. It was a gift to the city from Rotterdam’s port authority, which is celebrating its 80 year anniversary, Nos said.

The panoramic screen shows short films about life in the port.
