Two beers, two wines, two cokes cost most in The Hague
Amsterdam is no longer the most expensive city in the Netherlands when it comes to the cost of a round of drinks on a terrace.
According to the annual Van Spronsen & Partners survey, the capital has dropped to number five after seven years at the top. It has been overtaken by The Hague where two small beers, two glasses of rosé and two soft drinks cost an average €21.70. A year ago, the same drinks cost €20.86.
In Amsterdam, the same round costs €21.15.
In Rotterdam, where the price dropped last year to €19.80, it now costs €21.45 for the round, pushing it up to third place.
Only Eindhoven in 20th place saw the price fall this year, by five cents to €19.05.
Cheapest of the 21 cities under investigation was again Nijmegen, where the round of drinks cost on average €19.
