Dutch exporters are positive about 2013 and are expecting growth of 9% over the year, higher than in previous years.
The figures are quoted in the latest Trends in Exports 2013 from the exporters’ association Fenedex.
The food, drinks and tobacco sectors are particularly optimistic. They saw growth of 12% in 2012 and are expecting this to improve to 15% this year.
Most exporters are looking to growth in the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China) and in Poland and the US, says Fenedex.
