Ski holiday accidents rise 10%

Over 930 people have returned injured from their winter sports holiday so far this season, tourism organisation ANWB said on Friday.

That is 10% up on the previous winter sports season and shows skiing holidays are still popular, the ANWB said. Torn knee ligaments and broken legs are the most common injury.

The ski season runs until the end of March, so the final total will be higher.
