Storm-force winds hit Holland

The Netherlands was hit by an autumn storm on Sunday, bringing strong winds particularly to coastal areas and the north.

Winds of up to 100 kph were recorded over the North Sea and there were some reports of damage, news agency ANP said.
The wind is expected to gather in strength as the day progresses, bringing gusting winds of between 80 kph and 90 kph in places, but will die down again in the early evening.
By lunch-time on Sunday, the emergency services had been called out several times to deal with blown-down trees.
In Roermond a woman was injured when scaffolding blew over, Nos television reported.
