German police have had 30 tips about a Dutch national who is believed to attack women he meets online.

Berlin police issued two photographs of 45-year-old Omid Ramadani at the weekend. Ramadani is said to make contact with Iranian women via internet and then physically injure them.
According to one German paper, Ramadani has similar convictions in the Netherlands but a police spokesman refused to confirm this when asked by news agency Novum. ‘We do not give out information about previous convictions,’ the spokesman said.
German police say Ramadani attacked a 37-year-old Iranian woman at the end of last month and seriously injured her. Her 10-year-old daughter was also tied up during the incident.
