Photos of Rotterdam robbers to be displayed on big screens

Rotterdam police, justice officials and city council are to use advertising hoardings to display photographs of wanted armed robbers, the Telegraaf reports on Monday.

The hoarding on the Beurstraverse street in the city centre and others in supermarkets will display security camera photographs of crimes which have not yet been solved.
The photos, which will be displayed from Friday, are currently online on the police website to give the perpetrators time to give themselves up.
Earlier this year, justice ministry officials in Rotterdam used hoardings to display photographs of football hooligans – most of whom came forward, the Telegraaf says.
