Talks to start on Nedcar social plan
Management at Limburg car maker NedCar, the unions and works council are to begin negotiations on a redundancy package for the plant’s 1,500 workers, news agency ANP reports on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Swiss company Q-PM, which had been interested in taking over the plant, has pulled out, a spokesman for the local authority Sittard Geleen, confirmed on Monday evening.
Mitsubishi said earlier this year it is stopping production in Limburg.
