Half the premier football division teams have new coaches

Nine out of the 18 teams in the Dutch premier division have a new coach next season, according to research by the Volkskrant.


Ronald Koeman has taken over from Mario Been at Feyenoord while John Lammers is new in the top job at Excelsior. Alex Pastor has left Excelsior for NEC while John van den Brom has moved from ADO Den Haag to Vitesse.
Maurice Steijn has been promoted to the top job in The Hague and Co Adriaanse has taken over at FC Twente. Utrecht has taken on Erwin Koeman, brother of Ronald. VVV Venlo has signed up Glen de Boeck and De Graafschaap’s new chief coach is Andries Ulderink.
As well as the nine new coaches, this will also be the first full season for Frank de Boer at Ajax.
