Just over 18% of Dutch women born in 1965 are childless, the fifth highest rate in the industrialised world, according to figures from the OECD quoted by the Daily Mail.


Italy has the highest percentage of childless 45-year-olds at almost one in four, while Portugal has the lowest rate – just 5%.
