Industrial producers expect to invest an average 25% more in 2011 than in 2010, the central statistics agency CBS said on Tuesday.

The chemical industry is particularly positive, expecting an investment increase of 73% this year. In 2010 the sector invested nearly €1bn.
The wood, paper and graphic sectors are less positive and foresee a drop in investment of 7%, mainly because of the recession in the printing trade.
