Hospitality industry starts to turn the corner
The hotel and catering industry has booked its first sales increase since the start of the economic crisis, the national statistics office CBS said on Thursday.
In the fourth quarter of 2010, sales were up 3.7% overall. Half of the increase is due to higher prices and the rest to an increase in volumes. Hotels booked the highest growth at 9.3% but all sectors benefited from the upturn.
