PSV Eindhoven and Barcelona have reached a deal over the transfer of midfielder Ibrahim Afellay, who is set to move to the Spanish club during the winter break.

The transfer fee is put at around €3m by news agencies. Personal terms still have to be worked out, and these will take time, PSV says on its website.
The Dutch international’s contract with PSV expires in the summer, meaning he would then be transfer free if the Eindhoven club had waited until then.
Afellay, 24, was a member of the club’s youth academy and has played 154 league matches so far.
