Christian Democrat accord negotiator gets new job
At least one outgoing Christian Democrat minister has found herself a new job. Ank Bijleveld, caretaker junior minister for home affairs and party leader Maxime Verhagen’s sidekick during the cabinet negotiations, has been appointed Queen’s Commissioner for the province of Overijssel.
