Dutch clubs line up for crucial Europa League ties

Four Dutch clubs are competing for a place in the group phase of the Europa League on Thursday evening: Feyenoord, AZ of Alkmaar, PSV Eindhoven and FC Utrecht.


Feyenoord and AZ both go into their away legs with a home win advantage, while PSV and Utrecht, both at home, have to win to qualify.
Utrecht has the most difficult task, after Scottish side Celtic won the first leg 2-0.
Feyenoord takes on AA Gent, AZ plays FK Aktobe of Kazahkstan and PSV faces Russia’s Sibir Novosibirsk.
FC Twente and Amsterdam’s Ajax will take part in this season’s Champions League competition.
