Vandals have sprayed poison on the massive planted advert for pro-animal party PvdD and destroyed it, the party says on its website.

The image, which covers 35,000 m2, was sown in the field in Nieuw Vennep in early spring and shows the party’s cow’s head logo and the text ‘vote for the animals’ party’ in giant letters.
The PvdD had hoped the giant advert would earn a place in the Guiness Book of Records.
