Oranje beats Ghana in World Cup warm up

The Netherlands beat Ghana 4-1 in the squad’s second warm up match ahead of the World Cup later this month.

The match, in which the Dutch played a strong, attacking game, also saw the debut of keeper Sander Boschker who, at the age of 39, became the oldest player to earn his first cap for the Netherlands.
‘It was fantastic,’ Boschker, who keeps for league champions FC Twente, told the AD. ‘I’ve got grey hairs in my beard and here I am playing for my country for the first time. I’m 39 but I’ve got no intention of stopping yet.’
After the match, watched by 2.3 million people on tv, Ghana’s coach Milovan Rajevac said Oranje is one of the best teams in the world.
