No forensic tests on William of Orange

The tomb of William of Orange will not be opened to allow a reconstruction of his murder, Delft mayor Bas Verkerk said on Monday.

A company called Delft Forensics wanted to reopen the tomb to find out how tall William actually was, a fact the company says is crucial to determine the circumstances of his death.
William was shot in the chest in 1584 and is buried in the Nieuwe Kerk in Delft.
