More over-50s are working
Last year, 57% of 50 to 65-year-olds were still working, up from just over 50% in 2001, the national statistics office CBS said on Wednesday.
But just 3% of the over-65s are still in work, most of whom are freelancers or self-employed, the CBS said.
Plans to increase the pension age from 65 to 67 are likely to be at the centre of talks to form a new coalition government after the June 9 general election.
