Double glazing subsidy a flop
Government efforts to get more people to install double glazing in their homes have flopped with only €19m of the €45m available in subsidies being spent so far, the Nederlands Dagblad reports on Friday.
The scheme was launched in July 2009 and ends in December this year.
Double glazing firms say the scheme has not been popular because of the red tape involved, and the fact it does not benefit companies.
