Both full and part-timers give their work-leisure balance a score of 6.9 out of 10, the research shows. Two-third of Dutch women who work have a part-time job.
The bureau says one reason is that part-timers often have too-high expectations about how much extra time they will have to spend with their family. In addition, companies often expect part-timers to do too many tasks, leading many to work extra hours at home.
