The McDonald’s fast food chain is the biggest hospitality and catering company in the Netherlands, with turnover of €558m, according to the annual Misset Horeca Top 100.

Second on the list is the Van der Valk motorway restaurant and hotel group, with sales of €518m.
In third place is Servex, which runs catering and food retail operations at railway stations.
The survey shows turnover at the top 100 biggest hospitality firms has gone down by 8% over the past year. But the hotels sector was harder hit, with sales down an average of 11.3%.
