FC Twente moved back to the top of football’s premier division at the weekend after league leaders PSV Eindhoven lost 2-1 to NAC Breda.

FC Twente, which has led the premier league for most of the season, beat bottom placed RKC Waalwijk 0-1 in what pundits said was a difficult match.
Amsterdam’s Ajax had a simple 0-3 victory over Sparta of Rotterdam to strengthen its claim to third place. Ajax is now four points behind PSV and six behind Twente.
Feyenoord remains in fourth place, 11 points below Ajax, after a 2-4 win over Roda JC of Kerkrade.
