The final of the Dutch cup will take place on April 25 between Amsterdam’s Ajax and Feyenoord of Rotterdam – a match described as the dream result by football commentators.

Ajax will join the Rotterdammers at the Kuip stadium following a 0-6 win over Go Ahead Eagles, a first division club from Deventer, on Thursday night.
It is the 22nd time Ajax has qualified for the cup final. The last time Feyenoord and Ajax met in the event was in 1980, when Feyenoord won 3-1.
Rotterdam mayor Achmed Aboutaleb must still give permission for Ajax fans to attend the final at the Rotterdam arena. The club has been banned from taking supporters to away games against Feyenoord because of crowd trouble. Feyenoord fans have also been banned from away games against Ajax.
‘It wil be a great end game, but of course our fans have to be there,’ said Ajax coach Martin Jol.
