Verdonk’s party plans culture spending cuts
Rita Verdonk’s populist party Trots op Nederland is campaigning for cut in spending on culture, and end to corporation tax and the replacement of income tax with a 25% flat tax for everyone in this year’s local elections.
Verdonk also wants a 33% cut in civil service numbers and the amount of money spent on development aid to be halved.
TON is contesting seats in 38 local authority areas.
