A 52-year-old man from the village of Neunen near Eindhoven will not face charges following the death of a burglar at his home, news agency ANP reports on Monday.

The 34-year-old burglar died after both men ended up fighting in the garden pond. The victim had been drinking and using drugs and the cause of death could not be established, ANP said.
The public prosecution department said it had decided not to charge the man because his involvement with the death of the burglar could not be proved.
