The Dutch are among the most positive Europeans about their economic prospects, according to new figures quoted by the national statistics office CBS.


The Dutch consumer confidence index reached +1 in January, meaning there are slightly more positive people than negative ones.
Only the Finns, Swedes and Danes were more positive about the economy. The European average is -13, with Romania and Greece the least optimistic.
