The owner of an Italian pizza parlour in Leiden is to be prosecuted for secretly filming women who used the restaurant’s rest room, the Telegraaf reports on Thursday.

Police seized a webcam and three boxes containing 96 videos of film after a worker at the restaurant discovered the camera and alerted the authorities. The films of women actually using the wc had been made over a three-year period.
The owner of the Sorrento restaurant told police he had installed the cameras to check for drugs use in the toilets and theft by personnel.
There have been a number of similar cases in the Netherlands in recent months.
