PSV Eindhoven consolidated its lead of football’s premier division this weekend with a 3-0 win over NEC of Nijmegen.

PSV now moves two points clear after FC Twente drew 0-0 against Groningen. PSV moved ahead of Twente on points last week.
League number three Ajax of Amsterdam had a 1-0 victory over last year’s champions AZ of Alkmaar. The only goal of the match came from Gregory van der Wiel in the 63rd minute.
